    Arizona against violent video games....

You would think that our wonderful leaders would get the hint that cracking down on video game companies making violent games by fining them is not working.  Every law they have tried to pass has failed, and no matter how much the surveys and studies show them that violent video games really don't lead to violence in real life (in fact studies have shown the complete opposite with a decrease in violent behavior) they continue to pursue laws that will infringe on 1st amendment rights of companies to create pretty much whatever they want...it is called freedom of speach.  It should be up to the stores selling the games to enforce ID checks on people bying rated material...that is what the ratings are there for.  And if parents are ok with thier 10 year old playing a Mature rated game then let them buy it for there child...easy.  So why do politicians continue to try shushing game developers...I mean you look at some of the movies coming out and they are just as bad if not worse...so why not pursue movie developers...or even book developers.  There are some books that I read growing up that I probably shouldn't have (Deathlands by James Axeler).  Those can be just as violent and mature as some movies and games.  Pisses me off that they just don't seem to get it.  We are loosing more and more freedoms everyday.  We seem to be moving more and more towards left or right extremism and the political parties are becoming more and more obsessed with holding that power.

Here is the article listing Arizona as the newest threat against fredom of speach.

A weapon is a device for making your enemy change his mind...or empty his mind...either will work.
