Who: Anyone who posts in this thread saying they're coming, with a few exceptions. Mainly if I don't know you, someone I DO know has to have referred you. But be sure to RSVP soon, as we have a maximum of 15 spots.
What: LAN Party 2007 V 2.0
When: 2/24/07 (MAYBE), 2:00 PM till when I make you all go home (typically between 4-6:00 am Sunday morning).
Where: My house. If you don't know the way, PM me for directions.
What to Bring: The typicals...computer, mouse, monitor, headphones, game discs, $5-$8 for food (PLEASE try to bring exact change). IMPORTANT: This can't be stressed enough, bring a mousepad. Our tables are glossy, bumpy plastic, and optical mice WILL NOT WORK without a pad.
Optional Items to Bring: office chair (we're slowly growing our chair number (4 party chairs + 4 kitchen + mine = 9), but I'm expecting a greater turnout for this event...see the poll below regarding chairs) network switches (we should have this covered, but it never hurts to have fail overs).
What will be Provided: snack foods and beverages (meaning soda, nobody likes an angry drunk gamer).
Games to Play: We're going to try a structured/scheduled approach this time:
2-3:30 PM: Quake 3 Arena (quick, simple)
4-6 PM: Star Craft Tournament
6-8 PM: food and CounterStrike (perfect time to eat when you're dead waiting for everyone else to die)
8PM - 12AM: BF2 and BF1942: Galactic Conquest Mod (mostly BF2)
12-2 AM: Return to Castle Wolfenstein
2-end: Serious Sam
Games/Mods to Try: None this time. Next party will be all mods/demos.

And now to the point of chairs. You don't have to bring your own chair, there are folding chairs. However, even though they have padding, their comfort can diminish over the hours. Also, I only have 10 chairs. I'll buy more if I need to, I just want to see if enough people are bringing their own chair (it should be noted that if you're not bringing your chair, you don't NEED to submit your input, I just need to know if you ARE):
