Well...there are ways...it would involve in the very least opening up ports on my firewall specifically for whatever game we're playing. Unless he's got a copy of HL2, he would be left out of that. Another option would be creating a VPN tunnel to my house, but I don't have a VPN router. This is all forgetting that I've never set anything like that up before, and have only done slightly similar things with enterprise grade routers/firewalls. Hypothetically speaking, yes, it's possible, but take the typical hassle of hooking everyone up when they're local and multiply it by about a thousand. If he really can't tear everything down, I may have a spare machine (my laptop). He'd probably want to bring an LCD or use one of my 17" CRTs, and his own keyboard/mouse. I'll keep you up to date on whether or not its going to be available.
