Unfortunately I think I am going to have to bow out of this party. I will still be at the diablo party and it may be a while after that before I show up at another party.
I just recieved my content test package from Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment. If you don't who they are they are a new game comany who aquired the rights to the Stargate Series and are making an MMORPG based on it. So the first part of the admission of employment there is the Content Test which includes a questionaire about different writting styles and what-not. The time consuming part of this is the Mission test, which I have to write an entire mission from scratch. Everything from the story, to the mission overview, to details of the mission including: Maps, characters, full dialog tree, and emotion tree based on the interaction of players with the NPC and the mission dynamics....there is alot more in it than that....but I am pretty sure that, from the full list of requirement, that it will take me at least all of my free time for the next month or two to pull it off. So I will be trying to spend as much time giving them something that I think will get me hired...partly because I hate my current job, but mainly because I really need to start using what I learned at collins or it will be rendered pretty much worthless.
